Benefitting HART for Animals, you can run solo or bring your pup (on a leash) to participate in this run/walk.

Ace’s Run has been a favorite restaurant for year’s, and now they have a new deck so that you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful lake views while you dine. Plus, you can stop at their new lakeside hot dog cart to grab a snack when you are out on the boat.

Western Trails is known for horseback riding, but they recently added Side-By-Side tours to their list of activities.

In their second year, this awesome arcade features over 100 classic and modern games. They now have cornhole boards so that you can play outside as well as inside. Plus, they plan to add a mini-golf course!
Deep Creek Boat Club – 301.928.4507
Changing the way people enjoy boating at Deep Creek, membership at Deep Creek Boat Club includes unlimited access to NEW, luxury boats, as well as complimentary use of water toys. The membership also includes access to the exclusive Deep Creek Marina Club for the boat owner and their significant other. Deep Creek Marina Club offers many amenities, not open to the general public, including a bar/cafe, kid’s craft room, game rooms, heated outdoor pool with retractable roof, exclusive lakefront property access, as well as access to kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.
High Country Creamery – 240.979.0620
Take a short drive to Grantsville to this local artisan cow cheese facility. Their plant is complete with a large viewing window to watch the cheese making process. Shop in their market and enjoy breakfast and lunch at Farmer’s Table eatery, open Monday – Saturday. They use local farm to table products as much as possible!
Oakland Downtown Jubilee
Head to Oakland July 7 from 1-7PM for kids’ activities, music every hour, history presentations, food trucks, raffles and an opportunity to shop local! The event is free, but donations collected by vendors and visitors will benefit local charity, Landon’s Library. Come out to celebrate Oakland’s small town charm!
Massage Therapy at the CARC – 301.387.3786
The Community Aquatic Recreation Center is offering massage services the first and last Saturday of each month in addition to Friday sessions from noon-4PM. Experience either Swedish or deep tissue techniques.
The Lakeside Grill – (Beside Lakeside Creamery)
This popular food cart is now being operated by Harvest Moon Market – well-known for serving healthy, real food.

Moonshadow Cafe – New Location Opening Soon!
This spring, Moonshadow Cafe is moving from Accident to a new, larger location – next to the Garrett College at 145 Bumblebee Road. They will have a much larger stage for the great live acts that they host.

Located in Oakland’s historic downtown, this recent addition serves breakfast and lunch Wednesday-Sunday and dinner Thursday-Saturday. They update their menus often.
