Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations was founded in 2008 with just one home by Jodi Taylor Refosco, Joe Refosco, and Chad Taylor. With backgrounds in the vacation rental and hospitality industries right here in Deep Creek Lake, they developed a good understanding the importance of customer service, time management and service. They were servers, restaurant managers, reservationists, hot tub cleaners, housekeepers, technical support, marketing specialists, owner representatives, maintenance personnel and managers. They were where the tire meets the road, as they say.
Today, Taylor-Made manages over 465 homes and serve another 150 non-rental homes with the help of an experienced staff - many of whom have worked in the industry five, ten, even twenty years! It is a family-run business, and the team has been an integral part of building a reputation of excellence.

In the spring of 2014, we teamed up with Jay Ferguson, a well-known area real estate agent, as a founding partner of the Taylor-Made Deep Creek real estate sales division. With over 21 years of experience selling Garrett County and Deep Creek Lake real estate, he shares our passion for the area and was born & raised right here in Garrett County, growing up in the southern part of the lake. He has sold nearly $200 million of real estate during his career and was named the Garrett County Realtor of the Year in 2019. Early in 2016, Betsy Spiker Holcomb chose to join as co-owner of the real estate division. As a top-producing area agent and eleventh generation Garrett County native, her extensive knowledge of the local inventory of homes and community resources allows her to provide a superior level of information to both native residents and long distance clients.

EXPANSION OF REAL ESTATE DIVISION
Through the acquisition of Long & Foster's Deep Creek Lake Branch in August 2016 the real estate team grew by leaps and bounds – almost overnight! During 2017, they were responsible for over $80 million in Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County real estate transactions.
In June of 2018, seventeen new agents joined the real estate division. Many of the new team members are accomplished agents with decades of experience in Deep Creek Lake real estate.
