Recently we added a home to our rental market that seemed like a perfect choice for a small family. Bear Trap is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom lakefront home located in the tranquil community known as Thousand Acres. This is located on the southern end of Deep Creek Lake and while you are little farther removed from a lot of the shopping and dining establishments, you easily make up for it with the private setting, serene atmosphere, and the to-die-for lakefront. One step inside Bear Trap and you will embrace the luxury of the gleaming hardwood floors, the comfortable leather sofas and the large 70 inch Smart TV Flat Screen. The elegant and sophisticated décor continues to flow throughout the home giving you the “home away from home” feeling. Step outside and marvel at the wonderfully spacious level lawn that extends out to your private dock. A local tidbit or for those seasoned veterans, it is well known that some of the most spectacular Deep Creek sunsets occur on the southern end of the lake. Imagine spending your evenings, relaxing on your back deck or sitting on your dock and capturing that perfect sunset. The outdoor fire pit is ideal for hanging out in the evenings making s’mores and sharing your adventures of the day. Golf, anyone? Thousand Acres is also home to a golf course, literally a five minute drive down the road. This 18-hole championship golf course designed by Craig Schreiner was carefully designed to protect the environment and the natural beauty that surround the area.
