We Love Festivals!

Guests have been pouring into Deep Creek this weekend to join us for the Autumn Glory Festival that runs from now through Sunday! Parades, craft and antique shows, lots of entertainment; such a fun weekend to be here! The leaves are starting to peak so now is the perfect time to come and enjoy our fall foliage. Just a reminder that we are now offering 3 nights for the price of 2 on all new reservations from now until November 18th. A great time to get away for a relaxing weekend while taking advantage of some awesome promotions. Give us a call at Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales (or go online www.deepcreekvacations.com) and let us help you plan your Autumn getaway!
Speaking of more festivals, while October is kind enough to give us Autumn Glory, November brings us the Festival of Trees, which is held over the Thanksgiving holiday! Held here in McHenry at the fairgrounds, the Festival of Trees is held on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th beginning at 9 am until 6 pm. Offering a variety of family fun activities, guests get the chance to stroll through a winter wonderland of decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces, art work and more. Bring the kids first thing in the morning for Breakfast with Santa and then head over to Frosty’s Funland where they can send a letter to Santa, visit the bakery or make a craft. Live entertainment is held on the stage where various dance groups will be there to perform. Definitely a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to visit. Schools are out and families are already gathering so why not create new special memories by planning to bring your clan to Deep Creek Lake. With what has been known as unpredictable mountain weather, you may be arriving to a blanket of snowy goodness or to warmer weather, just right for hiking through our many state forests. Give us a call today so we can begin planning your new Thanksgiving tradition. We can’t wait to see you at the lake!
