Old Punxsutawney Phil said 6 more weeks of winter. He might be right this time, because someone has been shaking the snow globe here at the lake. We have had over 80+ inches for this winter!

Deep Creek Real Estate Market update
Our listing inventory is the lowest it has been in more than 8 years. We don’t need a groundhog to tell us that we are looking at a very hot spring market. There are currently 314 homes available in Garrett County and more than half of them are lake area homes. Of the 26 homes that sold in the past 30 days, 13 were lake area homes with an average of 160 days on the market and average sales price of $383,000.
BROWSE DEEP CREEK LAKE REAL ESTATE
While this summer was hot on the lake front, only three lake front properties closed last month; two of which were condos. When the inventory is low, the buyers get busy. If you are thinking about selling, now is the time to talk to an agent and prepare your home for the spring market.
