The house was clean and kitchen had all the stuff you'd need. Dock and lake front were very pretty. Good swimming.

We had a great weekend at the property and it had everything that we desired. When we called the rental office for more firewood they had a delivery within an hour, which was great. We are considering to reserve again for next year and advise anyone considering the house to go for it!

We have stayed at several rentals in Deep Creek but this rental was probably the niceist! It was VERY clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the addition of firewood for our use was a great plus! Needed the water turned on and the mainttenanceperson arrived 20 minutes after our arrival. If there was one negative, it was that the carpet was quite stained(or dirty). We hope to return!

This was our first time having the whole family together at the same time in the same house for vacation. After searching for the right house to accommodate all of us and our family dog we settled on At Ease property. The five bed rooms were exactly right for us and the house itself was perfect. The large open space rooms included a billiards room which was used every evening, a large great room living area, and a dining room that seated all of us each evening for dinner together. The kitchen was well equipped and the cookware was surprisingly very nice indeed. Lots of dinnerware and glasses for all. Additionally there was a lovely gas grill on the deck for cooking outside. Actually we ran out of propane and had to call for more and it was delivered early the next morning without delay. The property itself was right on the lake front and had a dock which we could moor the rented pontoon boat to each evening. It was a little bit of a challenge for Gramps to execute the hilly trek to and from the dock but he did exceptionally well and it was so much better than most properties we saw with steps galore. It seems there are no truly handicapped accessible properties there. The fire pit provided evening camp fires and a place for family fun and of course s'mores. All in all this was the right property for our family. Everyone loved the space and the location as well as the convenience. Before we got home even, we had a text from the grandchildren saying that they wanted to do this again next year. Same time, same place. That about says it all don't you think.

We love this house. It has everything we could ask for. So much to do. Grandkids love fishing, tubing, swimming and of course the hot tub.
- Diane F. from Downingtown, PA, Posted: 07/10/2017
We love this home. The kitchen was redone this year and it is beautiful. The size of the house accommodates my three grown children and their spouses and my little grand babies without ever feeling crowded. We did have to call for a minor repair to the tub - maintenance came within hours. We also called because we had a lot of trash - again that request to come and empty the overflow was handled in a few hours. We have already booked for next year.

Absolutely loved At Ease. The layout was spacious and private for all 12 of us. Kids room was perfect for my 4 grandkids. Very comfy beds; plenty of drawer space for clothes; very large bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Two refrigerators was a plus. Loved that we could see the dock from the house. The private dock was also a plus. The location was great. You will not be disappointed with this home. Lots of charm and space. I will rent again.

At Ease was a beautiful house with a private dock. The house was large enough for our family of 13. Unfortunately it rained most of our weekend but we did not feel cramped in the house. The pool table and hot tub were wonderful extras that the whole family enjoyed. Taylor Made customer service was top notch which made us want to rent from them in the future.

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we had a great time. The grandkids caught fish off the new dock. The house was nice and big. We used the fireplace to take the chill off.

Our 9th year at At Ease. We love the house and location. I do hope that the dryer is replaced by next year as it does not dry clothes.

My 3 adult children and spouses plus 3 grandchildren joined me for a week's stay at At Ease. We had a delightful experience. The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths plus the great room, pool room and deck with 3 tables and chairs provided plenty of room. We enjoyed the spacious dining room and the pool room Two refrigerators were a plus as was the dishwasher. There were 3 kayaks plus the dock to provide plenty to do on shore. We rented a boat and enjoyed tubing. The hot tub was a treat after swimming. The location is great and being on the water was wonderful. We all enjoyed our week and created many cherished memories. I forgot to mention the fire pit where we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows.

This was our first time back to Deep Creek in 15 years, so choosing from pictures was a little nerve-wracking! However, the pictures and descriptions were very accurate. We loved the quiet privacy of the location. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only drawbacks were no master bathroom, and not enough comfortable seating in the living area. There was no ladder on the dock (as pictured). Everyone at the management company was fantastic from start to finish, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I called a few times with questions and they were just super! Also, Bill's Marine Service people were wonderful to work with. There were plenty of nice towels provided as well.

Lovely/comfortable and fun! WE loved our place and are considering booking a summer week but are looking for something affordable
A wonderful getaway
Our family recently spent a long weekend staying at the At Ease property and really loved the place. The location was great, situated on a quiet cove that offered a beautiful view and a short, easy walk to the water. With it being October, the dock had been pulled up, but I'm sure guests in the summer took full advantage of this location for both swimming, boating, and fishing. For us, watching the sunrise over the water every morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The house is very charming and had been updated over the years. We loved how the first floor was very open with sliding glass doors all along the back to look out over the lake. We were also delighted to find plenty of firewood stacked up for use in the fireplace and/or fire pit, as well as a stocked game closet. Those were nice touches. I would definitely stay here again. I have to say good things too about Taylor Made - they were wonderful to work with and a real professional, customer service oriented group. I was very impressed with everyone who helped me with my reservation.

This year we included my mom who needs a walker to get around and At Ease gave us a perfect floor plan that allowed us to include her in all activities. The only thing i would pass along to the owner is the grill needs a good cleaning and perhaps a new grill plate. we had to really put some elbow grease into it to get it to start.

Another wonderful week in Deep Creek. We love At Ease and will be returning next year.

Other than rain almost every day our stay was very enjoyable. Great location on the lake for the fishermen. We were pleasantly surprised with the interior design and layout as the outside is very plain. Two refrigerators were great to have which allowed us to put beverages in one and food items in the main frig. Our Suggestions would be to provide the option of a sofa bed so mixed age groups and different sexes have an option not to have to share a bed or bring an air mattress. Also need to provide more kitchen towels as we were washing them constantly or add them to the list of what to bring. Main problem we encountered when searching for a rental property was trying to find a house with dock space that allows for multiple boats. Fishing and boating are the reason we love coming to Deep Creek. We know the Maryland DNR manages this and it's not something you can control but maybe you can let the DNR know of the problems we encountered. We were looking for a house large enough to accommodate a family group of 22 and room for 4 boats. To get that many people in one house was prohibitive since most houses that large only had 1-2 dock slips (and not just your reality). We ended up having to find two houses with private docks and from two different realities to be close to each other. Your site was difficult to search to find the rental properties you manage that were near each other. My sister is a realtor and had to use her professional experiences to find the 2 houses we eventually rented. However, this was a great property overall and was perfect for the group staying there. We would rent this house again.

From the beginning, I was impressed with Taylor-Made. They always called back w/in a very reasonable time, and were there to assist us with issues while we were staying in one of their properties.

Great homje, could use a few minor changes -TV in every bedroom is a must for our group of travelers and a kitchen trashcan that has a foot pedal to open it (its gross touching a dirty trashcan lid to open it. The location is nice. We are used to staying in the Red Run Cove area, as I have family there, but the house is a great lot with nice views of the quiet cove. Taylor Made was great. We had no problems. Even got the Christmas Tree package which was nice, although I thought that the fake tree I ordered was going to to be pre-lit, turns out I had to go buy lights for it :( No big deal I suppose. Overall great time, would consider staying there again. Although we are non-smokers, and the last morning we were there, I went to take my dog out, and I found three fresh cigerette butts on the grass outside of the deck. not sure where they came from... assuming somone else may have been walking their dog on the property and dropped them there?

First impression was how nice and cozy it was. Very neat and well maintained, felt right at home. But once I looked up we had to get out the vacuum. There was cobwebs and spider webs in almost every corner and above the kitchen sink. Not a huge deal, but makes you question how thorough the cleaning job was. After a good cleaning we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Spent every night cuddled up with a fire. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. I wish the weather cooperated better so we could have enjoyed the outside more. When we did get to be outside, the property felt nice and private. Barely noticed the neighbors on either side. I would definitely visit this house again and recommend others do the same.

from the moment i decided to switch from Railey to the last time i pulled the door closed on my vacation, it was a terrific experience. the office staff was wonderful, the house exceeded my expectations. The only thing missing was a time machine so i could re-do the vacation all over again.

We had a great week, all 14 of us. Eight adults and six kids. The house was perfect and the location was exceptional!!Unfortunately the weather was sub-par, cool and rainy. However we did get to swim and ski and go for boat rides and we did several vey nice local hikes. All-in-all a great week.
The only criticism of the property has more to do with the information we received from the property manager (Taylor-Made). Since the photo of the lakefront area was taken from the house, details were not visible. I asked if the beach area was suitable for small children and was told, "In response to your request this home would have a sloping lakefront and you would be able to walk right into the water. It would be a great location and easy access for the kids." This is not true. The lakefront is lined with very large piled rocks that are stacked precariously. Even the adults could not cross them without risking a fall or ankle injuries. The children had to jump off of the dock into water well over their heads. The area of water that was shallow enough for them was very limited. So if your children are not excellent swimmers, I would think twice about this property.
Also, the drier was broken on our arrival and we were told that it had been broken for awhile and that they were waiting for a part. The repairman came late Monday to fix it, but we should have been told about this sooner.

This property had many great features. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We had 11 people including 4 small children. The dock was quite large and was perfect for our boat and for adult swimming. The cove is relatively quiet compared to the central part of the lake. There was enough boat traffic to make it interesting, but not to create too much noise or damaging waves.

We spent our 7th year at At Ease and love the house. We look forward to see the changes every year and were thrilled with the addition of central air and the fire pit this year. Unfortunately we needed the firepit more than the a/c this year due to the cool weather. We will be back next year. I was very dissatisfied with the non service that we received on our broken clothes dryer. It broke on Tues and never was repaired. We called every day and 3 different people came but after Thurs we never heard a thing again. The problem was never resolved and we had to call for additional towels. We all came home with a pile of dirty clothes, beach towels etc. It would have been nice to be updated and at least offer an apology for the inconvenience or offered some compensation.

The four generations had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Every meal was eaten outside on the large deck to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. it was also used each night for game time. The hill from the home to the private dock was fine for those of us under 50, but it was a little challenging for the 82 year old great-grandmother. But don't worry, she loves the lake enough to not let that stop her. It was a truly delightful trip. Can't wait till next year!

Our family of 8 adults and my 14 month old granddaughter had a great time. It would have been nice if the grass was cut, but a great time was had by all. Lots of fish caught, nights by the fire, dip in the hot tub. Was really impressed with how noise proof this house was. When we closed our bedroom doors we couldn't here anything else in house.

We had a lot of fun while staying at the "At Ease." We had five couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. Close enough to Wisp that it wasn't far to go skiing or get dinner/ groceries, but far enough that we didn't feel as if we were right in the middle of all the action. Definitely recommend this property!
- Jennifer S. from Merritt Island, FL, Posted: 01/05/2014
The property was a bit outdated with regards to the overall look and furnishings, however it worked really well for our needs. We had 10 adults staying at the house for my husbands birthday vacation and we had plenty of room. The view was great and we loved having the pool table and hot tub for entertainment. There was also a wood burning fireplace and we were pleasantly surprised to find out the wood was included with our rental. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with tons of dishes, glasses and silverware as well as ample pots, pans & appliances. The only issue we had at the property was with the hot tub and Taylor Made provided excellent customer service and responded to the issue promptly. The only reason I might consider staying in another rental in the future would be that the ski slopes, grocery store and liquor store were a little farther than we anticipated, but otherwise I would highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect for a large family. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to feed everyone. Large comfortable bedrooms and 3 full baths. Wonderful view of the lake. Private and quiet.
Overall we'd definitely stay here again but with those changes At Ease would be perfect.

This is our second stay at a Taylor-Made managed property and they are wonderful- very quick and attentive to help with anything and the cleaning routine they use for these homes is awesome, plenty of fresh towels and the sheets and blankets all smell crisp and clean. This home in particular was very nice- there were 4 adults and 4 children in our group and we all loved At Ease. The phots online were accurate, plenty of room, right on the water, nice and clean. The room with 3 beds was a big favorite, kinda like a little treehouse up there. Only cons I could mention were 1) there were complaints about the beds-- perhaps some mattress toppers could remedy that. 2) a fire pit outside would be lovely 3) firewood wasn't dry and we had to buy some, only $5 though.
