That magic lake
We all love Deep Creek Lake Highland Retreat home was wonderful. Good solid home. Best equipped kitchen ever!!!! Bit of a climb up and down steps to get to the dock but we all figured we burned the vacation calories from the yummy meals we made. Great walking path at that end of the lake. Boating at that end was great also Can’t wait til next year

A Wonderful Winter Get Away
This is a wonderful house with lots of room, a lovely great room with terrific views of the lake. We spent a great week here in the snow - hiked nearby and along the lake, cooked, watched movies, enjoyed the hot tub, and relaxed.

Q: Approximately how far is it from the house to the dock and is it a steep hill? My husband spends most of his time fishing at the dock and has a bad knee. He is unable to climb a steep hill. Also, you would have approximately 12 stairs walking into the house.
