The cabin was clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed the large dining table and the common areas.

Second time here. Showing a little wear and tear but love the house.
Before our vacation we had read the reviews on the cookware provided. I am glad we brought some of our own as the ones at the house could be replaced & upgraded.
Upon arrival we called for repairs to the air conditioning and they were there in 10 minutes (impressive).
We are very satisfied with Lakeside Lodge and the professionals of Taylor Made Realty.

We usually have our annual family vacation in the Outer Banks. We decided to try Deep Creek because of the location (shorter travel distance)& having a baby in the family now. Deep Creek did not disappoint our decision. Lakeside Lodge was fantastic!
- Rachel M. from Richmond, VA, Posted: 01/23/2018
Really nice open concept layout where all seven of us could hang out in the great room! The parking pad is pretty steep and very close to the road, but had plenty of space for our three cars. We went skiing at Wisp and it was less than a five minute drive to get there. There's a good level of privacy because each queen bedroom is on a separate floor. We did have trouble getting hot water upstairs, so everyone ended up showering on the main floor or on the lowest level. I agree that the pots and pans have seen better days and could probably stand to be replaced. Overall, wonderful experience and I would book here again.

Lovely home, right on the lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces and hot tub. The perfect place to spend time with our family for the holidays. Excellent maintenance service from Taylor-Made Deep Creek rental office. Maintenance guy was outstanding and fixed two small repairs within an hour, great!
- Anonymous from Bowie, MD, Posted: 10/30/2017
Overall we were very happy with the property! The pots and pans really need to be updated (we cooked every meal there so it became rather frustrating) but everything else was as expected. We enjoyed our stay.
The Taylor Made staff was very responsive to our needs and also provided a spot to store our boat trailer during our visit. Great location!!! We will rent again.

Our stay at this property was great. The home is beautiful, well equipped and well maintained.

We really enjoyed our family vacation at this property. The location was perfect for us and the kids loved having a play set to swing & climb on! A few minor things that could be improved on but overall a wonderful experience. We enjoyed boating to the docks at the local ice cream shop and specialty donut shop as well. There is also a local arcade and shops just minutes away to enjoy. My family also enjoyed visiting Simon Pearce glass blowing facility & shop and learning about the process
- Melvin H. from Randallstown, MD, Posted: 01/27/2017
Very relaxing ????
- Diego B. from Silver Spring, MD, Posted: 01/03/2017
We walked to cafe in the mornings for coffe and paper...and Bloody Mary's.
Came back to our boat waiting right in the backyard to take us out for great fishing , sight seeing, swimming and tubing. The little ones loved the play set and the cooks in our group loved the fully equipped kitchen. Grown ups ended the day stargazing from the hot tub.
- Pam C. from Venetia, PA, Posted: 09/28/2016
Loved this house, in this location, on this lake!
for the next morning, but at 9:00pm that night a staff member brought a new coffee pot!Really unexpected and got us off on the right foot.

We had a wonderful time. Weather was perfect and the accommodations at Lakesidr Lodge were excellent. The maintenance staff was extremely responsive. For example,On our arrival late afternoon we were going to make coffee but noticed the coffee pot was missing the brewing basket. I called to request a new basket

It was wonderful! The house was beautiful, close to everything and we had a blast! Working with Taylor-Made was a great experience. Always pleasant, even when I asked dumb questions!
- Carol M. from Valencia, PA, Posted: 07/25/2016
our family all enjoyed the lake house - it was clean and well maintained with supplies-especially enjoyed how close the dock was and fire pit and hot tub--but house was too close to road for backing out
- Christine Q. from Millersville, MD, Posted: 12/02/2015
Wonderful home to share with family. Plenty of space to spread out. Everyone was able to relax. We plan to come back.
- Barb E. from Bridgeville, PA, Posted: 09/30/2015
Our family of 8 stayed comfortably in this house. The house was beautiful, clean and had comfortable furnishings. We cannot wait to return!
- Anonymous from Germantown, MD, Posted: 07/27/2015
Everything worked as advertised except for the dishwasher that only worked on short cycle(promised service didn't happen)and several of the phones that needed new batteries.
- Patti N. from Harrison City, PA, Posted: 07/01/2015
All members of my family agree that this first trip to Deep Creek, MD was awesome. From the arrival and easy access to Taylor Made real estate office until the time we left, everything seemed flawless. Lakeside Lodge offered us every amenity and made this stay very satisfactory. I would choose this home again. access to the private dock, and back yard space for our dog made for an extra special time. i can only say the inside of the home was clean, and offered all that a family of 5 and additional friends would need.
- KILEY C. from PITTSBURGH, PA, Posted: 06/22/2015
This was our fourth stay in Deep Creek and the first time we would choose our same house for next year - both the house itself and the location were fabulous. Easy to get to, close to the grocery store if we needed, but still tucked away, feeling like we were settled in the middle of nowhere. With two kids (age six & one) and two dogs, the balcony became our home base (watch for splinters on little feet). The only trouble during our week was the grill wasn't working but Taylor Made brought us a new one within a day so no complaints there!

Great place, easy to book, check in, and checkout
- Anonymous from Springfield, VA, Posted: 02/04/2015
Great beautiful house very close to the slopes. Convenient but private. Great family room for larger groups. Only complaint is that the driveway is on a slant and can be difficult for non-4-wheel drive cars to get out if icy.
The only negatives are the house main entrance is way too close to the main road and with the snow covered roads so busy with traffic we were snowed in for the entire time of our visit. And the otherone is that it was dangerous for the children sledding in the backyard because it was in a decline direct to the frozen lake, no barriers to stop them, so we were very close to them all the time they were out there.Thank God we didnt have any problems or accidents.
We did have issues with the dish washer and power in one of the bedrooms but the Realty sent a worker who fixed everything quickly.
Excelente customer service ! Overall it was a fun, relax vacation. We will be back ! Thank you Taylor Made Realty !
- Olga C. from Richmond, VA, Posted: 12/01/2014
Our family of 5 adults and 4 children had a great time during our staying in this house. Very clean, spacious and awesome views of the lake from the backyard. The children loved sledding and playing in the snow.
- Judith W. from Greencastle, PA, Posted: 09/09/2014
This is our fourth year at Deep Creek and this house was the best we've rented. Very clean, spacious, bedrooms separated for privacy since we had small children needing naps. Wonderful dock and good location on the lake. Yard desperately needed mowed. Sofa in living room has broken springs.
- Robin H. from Washington, DC, Posted: 08/25/2014
We had a wonderful time at Lakeside Lodge. It worked very well for a family of 3 + a dog, though it's on a busy road so it was better to drive to other places to walk the dog.
- Lori M. from Altoona, PA, Posted: 06/30/2014
realized Sunday the upstairs bath didn't have hot water. called the realty and a gentleman came out same day- SUNDAY! and fixed the issue. house was clean. grass a little high - could have used a mowing. hot tub didn't get real hot. thought we would notice the road traffic but it wasn't an issue. loved the deck. loved the house layout - perfect for a one year old on the second level while four 22 year olds were in the basement and able to be as loud as they wanted and didn't interrupt the sleep of the toddler. parents hung out on the main level plus the deck was great. cute swing set. dock was great. we rented a boat from Deep Creek Marina so access was perfect. We own kayaks and paddled them up and down that stretch of the lake with no issues. abandoned house next door wasn't a problem - a couple people rent the dock but they weren't there much.
- luke c. from reisterstown, MD, Posted: 06/16/2014
Place was in a decent location. Road was a little close and made us nervous with kids.
- Anonymous from Olney, MD, Posted: 12/30/2013
The house itself is nice. The couch in the living room is in need of replacement. There is no support at all, you sink into it and it is hard to get up. Some upgrades on basic kitchen supplies would be nice as well. Great room is beautiful and has a lot of light with a great view. Basement is cozy and spacious. Had some problems with the hot tub when we were there--had to call for service several times, hopefully they fixed the issue for future renters. Also fireplace in basement went on and off randomly. Great location for skiing.
- Anonymous from Arlington, VA, Posted: 10/16/2013
Great property and location. Only complaints are that the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner (mildew on shower curtains that I cleaned before using), the loft bath needed lightbulbs, and the carpets were stained. I know property is dog-friendly (which I love and we brought ours), but couldn't carpets be cleaned over the course of the season? Would definitely rent home again, as we all enjoyed ourselves and the view,...just some small things that need a little attention.
- Tony G. from Rockville, MD, Posted: 10/02/2013
First time using Taylor-Made. Very personal company. Easy to deal with, nice people. House was nice- very busy street, noise from fairgrounds (tractor pull)carried straight over the lake. convenient to WISP
- Matt S. from Baldwin, MD, Posted: 09/17/2013
Thank you Taylor-Made! We had a great time on our Deep Creek trip and will definitely rent this property again. Taylor-Made was there for anything and everything we needed. Thanks again.

The home was in great condition, especially for being the end of the summer season. The staff at Taylor Made were extremely responsive to our requests during our stay. Could not have been treated better.
Staff was very responsive to requests.

- Craig M. from Fairfax, VA, Posted: 08/19/2013
Our family had a great time staying at Lakeside Lodge. The location is hard to beat, and the house is modern. Also, the gentle slope to the lake is a must for young kids.
- Jill L. from WEXFORD, PA, Posted: 08/05/2013
Our family spent a week at the Lakeside Lodge and we couldn't have been happy with our selection. It was in a wonderful location, close to everything so you can be as relaxed or busy as you want. The swing set was perfect with the children! We will definitely come back to the Lakeside Lodge next year!!

The house itself is very nice, the lawn leads directly to the dock and the lake and has a nice firepit by the water. The windows facing the lake offer a glorious view. But the front of the house sits directly on the road, so there is a lot of road noise, and it is not secluded in the least. The house next door is abandoned, with docks strewn about the seriously overgrown lawn. The furnishings in the house are seriously lacking. Several of the bedrooms have no furniture other than a dresser or night stand. You have to live out of your suitcase for the week! Although the house sleeps 11, the living room only seats five and the dining room only six (nine if you count the three counter chairs in the kitchen). And cushions on the living room sofa are broken down and very uncomfortable to sit on. One of the bedroom televisions comes on with the volume VERY loud, which can be shocking when the TV is turned on early in the morning! The kitchen is lacking some basics...a grater, a bowl scraper, a knife sharpener (or sharp knives), a brush (for bbq sauce) and a blender. There is a nice Weber grill on the deck. The house was very clean (other than a few spots on the carpet, which we understand with a pet-friendly house). It is difficult to find a lake front property that is pet friendly, and we appreciate that. The rental company was very responsive...they were there within an hour when we notified them about loose bolts/missing nuts on the dock. Check-in and check-out were very efficient (just a phone call!...doesn't get easier than that!).

Had a great time.. Good location, very close to the Wisp resort. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The rental staff were very helpful and professional.
The home we stayed in was very very nice...

Neighboring properties are abandoned, boarded up. This should be noted for future rentals.
- Brian M. from Hockessin, DE, Posted: 08/06/2012
We had a tremendous vacation. The house was great and the location was terrific. It was close to Wisp ski area and all the stores in town. We enjoyed many activities and rented boats for two days out of the week. The restaurants in the area were very good and we didn't have a bad meal all week. Service was excellant and the quality was very good. I would highly recommend Deep Creek Lake area and Taylor Made for your next vacation!
- Chuck R. from Abingdon, MD, Posted: 07/30/2012
House and grounds inspection & repairs need inprovement.Should install a large BiG SCREEN TV in lower level and a table to place stereo on,instead of the floor. We would like to here of any changes you make before we decide where were booking for next year. over all the place is very nice I hope those in charge will make the changes we suggested.
- Anonymous from Murrysville, PA, Posted: 07/24/2012
The place was nice but the cleaning people could clean better. The sheets had curlys on them and dog hair was all over the basement couch. Also there were cobwebs all over the house. Outside of the poor cleaning crew the place was beautiful and convient....
We had a wonderful Girl's Weekend at the Lakeside Lodge! Overall the house was very clean and in great condition with all of the amenities we needed. The house is gorgeous, tastefully decorated. It is spacious with plenty of room for the four of us and would easily have accommodated the other two ladies that were not able to make it in. The location it excellent! To be five minutes from the grocery store and a couple of restaurants is definitely a big plus! There are a few things that I will briefly mention, but these things did not affect our overall stay, I just thought you may want to know about them.
1. One of the outside chairs (by the hot tub)was broken.
2. There was a large amount of goose droppings in the yard, which is kind of gross, but I am not sure what can be done about it.
3. The extra blankets in the bedroom closet on the main floor were covered in dog hair (probably just need a good washing).
4. Also, the (abandoned?)house next door (to the right if you are looking at the lake) is an eyesore and a little bit creepy (not your problem really, I just thought I would mention it).
We had a wonderful time and we will be back! Thank you!

be renewed and the house could use some real blinds Fairly bright in the morning. There is some noise from Marsh Hill road but its only when cars drive by and only in early morning. The kitchen was well equipped and the hotub worked great. The house was fairly
clean when we arrived but it could have been stocked with dishwaser soap, garbage bags, and toliet paper. So if you stay make sure to bring those! Overall a great stay as the weather was fantastic and so was the accomodations. Access to the lake from Lakeside
Lodge can't be beat and the kids enjoyed the playground in the early morning as well as feeding the ducks from the beach and dock.

Laekside Lodge is in an excellent location close to all amenities in town. The access to the lake is fantastic and you are within minutes of flat water to enjoy great skiing and wakeboarding. House is in fairly decent shape although the mattresses could

Taylor-Made's service before and during our stay was incredible. I would recommend them to anyone!
was rated poor. THey must have a cat or dog as their was hair in the vents completely covered and hair on floors. So don't think it was cleaned in some areas to the best ability. The dishwasher did not work, it left the dishes very dirty and we would run in
2 times and still dishes were not clean. When we at dinner outside on deck our view was the WORST house in the entire Deepcreek area. The house next to Lakeside Lodge was vacant and falling apart. THe grass was to our knees for the week, the windows were all
broken, doors busted, old deomolished boat left in yard, grass/weeds growing on roof, etc. This was the view we looked at everytime we ate outside on deck. Not a pretty view at all. We do not care if the house was small, or an older house but at least wasn't
abandoned and left to decay. THe coach downstairs was broke and could not be slept on, and the internet was always down and barely worked the entire stay. We ran 2 business (/) and apraxia website (/). SOme of us do have to work on vacation as we are self
employed and having the Wi-Fi up and working was a must. I can see if a couple hours it was down due to a storm, but it did NOT storm while our stay and they said it was because of mountains. I do not believe that as SanStress NEVER had the Wi-Fi down, and
it worked the entire stay. We made the best of it but very disappointed for the money we paid.- Leslie Marucci

I have talked to a few of your employees about my stay. Overall poor stay. We stayed with your company in 2010 at SanStress and loved it. So I know we are not being picky. Infact I wrote a wonderful survey on SanStress. This stay for 2011 at Lakeside Lodge

location is great, place is beautiful, but has a mold issue in the walls from an audible leak and needs more blankets for cold nights
- Sara H. from Charlottesville, VA, Posted: 11/09/2010
Overall the house was nice. There was quite a bit of dust around. we had difficulty warming up the basement. The vents were closed-we opened them. Basement fireplace was not working but rental agency took care of it. Hot tub only 1/2 the jets were working. Nice house, good location.
- Anonymous from Reston, VA, Posted: 04/05/2010
Beautiful property; great location. Our family vacation was marred with small issues - the slopes closed the very day we arrived (we knew our hope for spring break snowboarding was a risk). The hot tub wasn't working since before our arrival and despite well meaning promises by the property management company, the hard to find part didn't arrive during our week on site... The property is for sale. I think this led to some normal accessories being lacking - such as no garbage cans in bathrooms, no towels or hot pads in kitchen, no hangars in the closets... We would return to this property, but would clearly plan a bit differently knowing what we know now... The location is terrific for any time of year. Walking distance to slopes (even fun in spring with snow tubing and the mountain coaster) and right ON the water for summertime fun. All in all the 3 teenage boys made the most of the location and we adults traveled well thru the area surrounding deep creek, enjoying antiquing, winerying, geo caching, and shopping in the nearby towns. Deep Creek Cellars produced excellent wine some of which we brought back to share with friends. Casselman Hotel (or something similar in downtown Grantsville) has great home cooked food and an amazing selection of homemade pies. And Archie's barbeque in Mchenry - yummmmmm.
- Majid Z. from Germantown, MD, Posted: 12/29/2009
You will love it, there were 10 of us, and all 10 enjoyed it. The only downside was that it said "it slept 11 people", but in reality it slept 8 people. The queen sofa bed was in a very bad shape.
- Susan G. from Pittsburgh, PA, Posted: 10/16/2009
The specials are unbeatable!
On our arrival we noted: the top of one of the drawers of the refrigerator was broken, one of the twin beds in the attic was broken (one of the support woods). We were a total of nine and everybody felt the same about dust in every corner, top of tv, under sofa, beds and tables.
- Liza D. from baltimore, Md, Posted: 10/13/2009
House was nice, some furnitures quality (attic room/beds) were not as excepted and all the way dirty, and full of spider nets. I am still with so much allergy from there.
- Penny W. from Hanover, PA, Posted: 09/15/2009
This was our first time to Deep Creek Lake. We did not know what to expect, however, we were very pleased with our choice of the Lakeside Lodge. The house was very nice, spacious, yet cozy. Although the weather was not the best for us, we still enjoyed the lake front. Taylor-Made vacations were extremely helpful whenever we needed assistance with anything. We are very anxious to return to Deep Creek Lake.
- Robert W. from Mars, PA, Posted: 08/24/2009
Very nice house and it shows like it's almost brand new. Plenty of room for two small families. I slept like a baby for the whole week. However, the lake view would be much nicer if the large old tree blocking part of the lake view from the family room were pruned back. The tree is probably dying anyway.
- Anonymous from Pittsburgh, PA, Posted: 07/27/2009
Nice place but couple of comments. Not all bathrooms had waste baskets (2 of the 4). No bedside stands with lamps for easy reading. Large home with only 1 external waste container. Day of arrival bin overflowing with extra bags around. We ended up leaving the same situation for people following us. Home needs second external waste container. Nice home and enjoyable stay.

We had a great long weekend. Taylor-Made personel were fantastic and helpful. Great location on the lake. The best we have had in the last 7 years we have been renting at Deep Creek. The house could use some improvements. The basement sofa and bedposts were damaged. Kitchen was severely lacking in amenities. Not enough dishes and pots and pans for 11 people. No blender, not enough serving dishes, utensiles. No house phone. e may use this house again though. Thanks.
