Lake Star Chalet
A great house - really beautiful. Th house was clean and well taken care of. We have plenty of room and enjoyed the downstairs game room and lounging area. Comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen - casserole dishes, blender, great knives too! Lights were a challenge as none are labeled. There were also a few shower parts laying around & towel holder laying on the floor when we arrived. The hot tub was on the front of the building on the road side, so no privacy there- but overall a great house with a great layout and design and furnishings and very clean but no lake view ...

LakeStar Chalet
This cabin was a perfect fit for our group of 10 (along with a 9 month old). Our age ranges were 19-76. The hot tub is a definite plus. If you get a chance to visit Swallow Falls definitely do so. There are plenty of dishes, cups, silverware, utensils, towels (but definitely bring laundry detergent). The fire pit area is a nice touch also. There are some board games but I'd recommend brining your favorites. The basement tends to be colder than the rest of the house so please keep that in mind. The yard is deceiving in the picture and not quite as big in person but we used the deck for cornhole so it was fine.

Great long weekend getaway
We really liked the chalet. It was clean. The master suite was awesome. The kitchen was very well equipped, could have used another refrigerator, as we cooked in a lot, and had lots of groceries. If traveling with small children, bring baby gates as stairwells are very open.

Beautiful house
The housing area in general was absolutely beautiful. The only complaint that we had was that the cleaning wasn't the greatest it definitely could have been a little better as things were very dusty and the hard surfaces had a sticky film on them. Overall it wouldn't stop us from staying again just for the price the cleaning definitely could have been better. Oakland offered many great activities that were family friendly and we can't wait to come back and explore the area more.

I had a great time during my short stay at Lakestar Chalet. The home was spotless and exactly as pictured! Check in was easy and there was a basic supply provided of all necessary items, including dishes! The house stayed pretty warm inside however the lower bedrooms were freezing. My only suggestion would be to bring a space heater if you’re going to sleep on the bottom half in the winter. Also it snowed quite a bit airing our stay. It would have helped if a path of salt or shoveled snow was provided to make accessing the house easier. Other than that my stay was amazing and I would do it all over again!

A Definite Improvement
The last Taylor Made home we stayed at was NOT a good experience. That being said, this home seemed to be well kept. The beds were all clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, the hot tub was clean and ready upon arrival, no trouble with the wifi/electronics. There was even a path shoveled to the front door. The kitchen had some (very) dirty dishes in the cabinets, so we rewashed the dishes before using to be safe. There were only 2 dishwashing soap pods though, so we had to go pick up more during our stay. The fireplace in the master bedroom wouldn't turn off completely, so that room stayed hot unless you cracked the windows. Everything else worked as expected though, and we would return to this rental.
