My only reason for the 4 stars is the air conditioning stopped working and Maintenance was out within a very short time. Fixed it, but within 20 minutes it broke down again and the first night was uncomfortable for the second floor guests. The maintenance person came out the next day in a very short time after I called and fixed it. He stayed for a while to make sure it was fixed. And the rest of the stay was great!
The location is very convenient to many different areas of attraction. I would definitely recommend Sparky's Lodge

We stayed at Sparky's Lodge in August for our daughter's wedding which was held at Chanteclaire Farm. It is 7 minutes from the venue so the location was perfect. The house is lovely with the perfect amount of bedrooms and space for the seven of us. The outside area is very nice.
Taylor-Made also was very customer oriented. We needed more water in the hot-tub and they showed up very quickly. They also sent someone over on the last day to be our 'photographer' to take family pictures on the porch. They were very accommodating and pleasant to work with overall.
I'm giving a 4 on over all general condition only because the dryers had problems drying, larger, very wet items. I believe both the dryers should be updated. The washers did their job just fine. Another minor annoyance was the lack of kids programming options on the TV in the bunk room.
Overall, we would definitely stay at Sparky's Lodge again and would recommend it to larger families with small kids.

From the moment we walked in, we were happy with our choice. We had 5 adults, one who needed a first floor bedroom and 4 kids ranging from ages 4 to 12. The kitchen was spacious, very well equipped and spotless. The dining table was very large and everyone could sit at with adding a chair from the breakfast bar. The living area was cozy and TV had plenty of options on rainy days with Netflix. One bonus was two sets of washers and dryers. There's one set on the first floor in the powder room and the second off the basement on-suite bath in the utility room which was very convenient. Another fun bonus were the games and movies that were in the house for our use.

The house was very clean - great kitchen that had everything we needed. Nice to have linens and towels included in the rental. Only complaint is the upstairs bedroom were very cold - especially the one with the queen bed. Main living room and master was very warm. Overall a great stay- would stay here again.

We loved Sparky's Lodge. The home was spacious and had everything that we needed to make the stay comfortable. The staff at Taylor Made Rental office was professional and offered to help with locating things that we couldn't find. The maintenance staff addressed repairs and even showed us how to operate things in the home. We really enjoyed our stay.

This home was very convenient to attractions. It was clean and very equipped. The realtors were very nice and helpful. We all had a wonderful time

We as a family were very pleased with Sparky's Lodge. It was very comfortable for the number of guests. Everything was clean and well stocked. The location was private, but still within walking distance to the stores. The pool table provided entertainment indoors, with the hot tub and fire pit providing outdoor. The back entrance had only 2 steps, making it very accommodating.

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway! plenty of room and house was clean. I would recommend this house to a friend and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time and the property suited our needs well. We did have to call maintenance as the key to the hot tub didn't work, but that was remedied immediately. One of the toilets didn't function well, but we managed with the other three. We thought we'd have a lake view and that was a disappointment, but we took nice walks and had a great time in general. Taylor-Made was superb. I'd use them again anytime.
very convenient to area attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This home is perfect for two families since it has two master suites and two childrens rooms with multiple beds. It was more than enough room for the 8 of us. The location is just wonderful at the end of a cul-de-sac on a private, wooded lot, yet it was

It was great!

I recommend the cozy place. Made feel at home but with all kinds of amenities. It is very well maintained and very roomy. It would be nice to call it my own. It is located very close to many things (Wisp Golf or Ski), nightlife, restaurants and the lake. Don't pass this up if you get the chance! Taylor-Made Vacations is an excellent choice. We only had one question and it was answered immediately. Thank you Taylor-Made and to the homeowner.

Clean house with a large parking space that can easily fit 6 cars. It is fully equiped with a pool table, outside hot tub, nice gas grill, TVs and DVDs, and many many board games. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends

Having to show up in person to check in was a pain in the ____. All the doors in the house need a good spray of oil they squeek terribly. The grill was so disgusting we had to go to the store to purchase cleaning supplies. The upstairs master closet needs light bulbs and the lite over the stove needs another light bulb as well. The place could also use a good cleaning (walls, the oven, stovetop, etc). Overall we would probably stay at this property again, the location was fantastic!

I wish they put soap in bathroom. I went to different property and all of them had soap. It was inconvinence that it wasn't any soap in their bathroom.
Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of linens, entertainment offerings were just great.
Close to food shopping, restaurants, Wisp Resort and water activities.

The home is immaculate and provides all necessities required for a short or long stay.

The property was exactly as presented and beautiful. A group of girls went for a girls weekend. It was awesome! We will definately return.

While the Washington DC Metro area was shoveling itself out of the snow from the 2010 storms, we were having a great time in the slopes. We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It is relatively easy to get to, though with all the snow some of our cars did have to struggle a bit, but it adds to the adventure. The house is spacious and it fit our needs great. Would consider renting again in the future!

Lovely home, very clean, close to mountain. Perfect for our 2 families for 4 children, room to spare.

I would definitely come back to that house again!! Lots of space, good ammenities, close to Wisp, really great find!

We loved 2BR!!! The place was immaculate, spacious, and had the best, most well-stocked kitched of any rental home I have seen! Management was great. The only problem is that it was quite snowy and while there was a shovel and salt (thank you!) for the driveway, Northlake road was very snowy and icy, having barely been plowed or treated (if at all). It made our journey out quite interesting... But, aside from that, a wonderful rental experience!

Great Thanksgiving. Kitchen had everything! Very well laid out and just very comfortable. We will be back!
- Anonymous from Harrington, DE, Posted: 08/23/2009
The house was beautiful and very clean. We had no problems the whole week we were there. It was located at a very convient place and close to everything we needed but far enough away you didn't feel like you were in town. I would recommend this place to anyone you just wants a wonderful place to go and get away from everything.
- Thomas M. from Perryopolis, PA, Posted: 06/24/2009
Great place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay and we especially appreciated the two ski passes. We would consider renting this convenient and comfortable house again.
- Anonymous from Alexandria, VA, Posted: 02/18/2009
This place was great. It was clean and it good shape, bigger than it looked in the pictures. Plus, you can walk to a grocery store and the ski slopes are only about a mile away.
- Lucy R. from Ashburn, VA, Posted: 02/10/2009
Property location was perfect. Close to skiing and grocery. Easy to find and priced right. The bonus ski passes are reason enough for us to come back again. Bedroom sizes were great for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. Would definitely recommend to our friends and would be happy to rent again next year!
Thanks for a great stay and I appreciate the ease of working with your rental office.

2 "B" "R" Retreat is in a convienent location to the slopes also the roads, driveway, steps and walkways all cleared of snow for easy and safe access to your home. The furnishings were up to date, very comfortable and I like the fact the children were kept in mind with the two chests filled to their brims with toys and movies for all. Two minor details to cover with you, the gas fireplace was not working and I know it comes with the coldweather but you need to check for mice. We found evidence of the little guys in the kitchen especially in the drawer to the right of the stove!
- Toni W. from Vinna, WV, Posted: 01/06/2009
Our stay was wonderful. We did have to go a day without the hot tub for a day - due to it needing drained and cleaned. I wish that would have been taken care of before we got there. My family is big on the hot tub use and we lost one of the 3 days because of that . Other than that - what a great trip!!!
- Micheal V. from Marietta, GA, Posted: 12/26/2008
This house was awesome. There was plenty of bed space for your group and the house was in the perfect location, close enough to the slopes and the grocery store but far away enough from the surrounding houses to feel by yourself. The house is very open on the main floor so everyone can hang out together or a few people can go to the basement and shoot some pool while others can take advantage of the hot tub. The two season passes for Wisp put the icing on the cake, this house is great!
