A massive stone fireplace is another focal point that adds to the grandeur of this impressive home. It is easy to imaging gathering around its warm glow with family and friends on a crisp fall evening. You can relax on the leather sofa and watch a little TV or pop a movie into the DVD player.
An open layout makes it easy to enjoy the company of others as you are preparing meals or grabbing some snacks. The cooks in your group will appreciate having ample counterspace, an island sink and top-of-the-line appliances. With seating at the table and breakfast bar, you can share quality time as you dine together and share stories of your Deep Creek adventures. The adjacent deck is ready to host an afternoon barbecue and is the perfect spot to sip your coffee each morning as you savor the sounds of Mother Nature.
When you are ready to relax, the main level master suite has everything you need to unwind including a king bed, lake view, TV, and private bath with an oversized jetted tub. Access to the deck is an added bonus. You can step outside for a breath of fresh mountain air when you awake so that you are energized and ready to explore mountain trails or kayak along the shoreline.
Upstairs, you can rack ‘em up on the pool table in the loft when you are ready for some fun and games. Just off the loft are two master suites each with a king bed and daybed with trundle, TV, lake view, and private bath. You will love the privacy that they offer when you are ready to curl up for a catnap or just need a little quiet time.
The lower level family room is a fun zone that will keep everyone entertained. Well-chosen Deep Creek-style décor compliments the easy living style of this space. You can watch TV, play shuffleboard, or simply kick-back by the gas fireplace. A wet bar with a mini-fridge keeps snacks and drinks handy. Step outside onto the lower level deck to survey views of the lake or to access the bubbling hot tub.
You will also find a fourth master suite on this level. A queen bed, deck access, lake view and private bath make it a soothing haven where you are sure to sleep soundly. Three additional bedrooms, each with a queen, round out the sleeping quarters.
Playtime starts at your dock slip! Bring your own boat or rent one at a local marina to experience on-the-water-fun that will fill sunny summer days. Make memories around the outdoor fire pit under starry skies as you roast marshmallows and reminisce with your favorite people.

Very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. 12 Adults, 4 Children. Great kitchen to cook in.- Dawn T. from Alexandria, VA, Posted: 09/25/2018
We had an extended family vacation that included 11 people and two dogs. The house was great and the layout allowed for everyone to have their own space or privacy if they needed it. We would definitely stay again.- Anonymous from Rockville, MD, Posted: 08/27/2018
My family recently stated at St Bart’s to celebrate my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary (ages 8-86). The house was perfect for a large family, with multiple master bedrooms and equal number of bathrooms. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers and a large square table were indoor highlights. The house was beautiful. The location was convenient to stores but sits on a main channel of the lake which made it challenging for kayaking, especially with young kids. Boat traffics was very heavy on the weekends but lighter during the week, so we were able to paddle to the state park with careful planning and keeping the kids close. Taylor-made staff were responsive to calls when things required attention (dishwasher, septic tank, internet specifically ) and resolved our issues quickly. Cleanliness of the house I would give a B only because some of the blankets and comforters could use a refresh and theire was an empty can found in one of the bedrooms. The house is well lived in but honestly it was a great home for a week sand everyone had a great time with plenty of space to spread out. We would rent here again if we return to the area.- Anonymous from Scotch Plains, NJ, Posted: 08/16/2018
We had an amazing week with family from age 3 to 70+. There was always something fun to do. The lake was beautiful. Our kids had a blast swimming, hanging out, hiking, Smileys :) and golfing. The house fit us perfectly and had everything we needed to feel like home! We can’t wait to do it again!!!!- Rachel G. from Chardon, OH, Posted: 08/14/2018
23 family members and a couple of dogs had a fabulous week of playing games and being together. No, we were not all there at the same time but there was a core that did stay the week.- Judy R. from , , Posted: 08/06/2018
We had a great time and the house was wonderful.- Neeca C. from Washington, DC, Posted: 06/13/2018

St Barts Retreat is the perfect vacation home for a large group. It has spacious bedrooms along with well appointed bathrooms. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The main level had a nice open floor plan. The kitchen was well equiped and the large dining table served our group well. We loved St Barts Retreat and plan to return again next year!

This place is amazing! Very spacious. Rooms are huge! House can comfortably hold more than 18 if rollaway beds are used! The only complaint I have is the warm water ran out when everyone wanted to take a shower. Therefore the huge bath tub weren't utilized. So we have to plan a shower schedule! But other than that the house was fully equipped with utensils, games, dish washing soap, speakers! The scenery in the backyard was to die for. I was scared that the house was going to be chilly because its the winter time but the heating work perfectly! Food places are located less than 10 mins away. We went to Unos and they had amazing pizza. I will definitely recommend this place to every and anyone!- Kabijatu K. from Accokeek, MD, Posted: 12/12/2017
The house was beautiful and kept very clean , everything worked good! The staff was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. We had an absolute blast and plan on coming back again!!- Anonymous from Beaver, PA, Posted: 09/27/2017
We had a wonderful stay here at St. Bart's Retreat. The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could ever want or need. The kitchen was fully stocked with every kind of utensil or cookware you could imagine. The only negative thing was the lake access. There was several stories of steep stairs to get down to the lake. Several of our family members could not go down because of that. Being at a busy channel of the lake made walking out on the floating dock very difficult. I'm sure at a more off season time with less water traffic that would not be an issue. All in all my family and I had a wonderful vacation. Taylor Made was great to deal with as well. I would highly recommend this home and Taylor Made.- Jan P. from Dundalk, MD, Posted: 09/17/2017
St. Bart's retreat was very beautiful and was perfect for our family. The shared basement bedrooms are ideal for families with young kids. All the other bedrooms are very spacious. The hot tub worked perfectly, the view was good, and the dock access was exactly what we wanted (note there are about 35 steps down to the dock). It was a safe environment for the young kids we had with us. Great place, great location, would definitely recommend!
Cons: grass was very high when we got there and wasn't cut for days. The fire pit was in the gravel driveway, not in a very comfortable location. There were no suitable chairs to bring outside for the fire, so bring your own camping chairs! The downstairs bathrooms are outdated and the one shower door had difficulty closing.- Jessica M. from Mars, PA, Posted: 07/10/2017
Our group had a great time at this property. Everything was clean and functional.- Matt S. from Barnesville, OH, Posted: 05/17/2017
The picture didn't do it no justice look so much better in person love it plan on going again my friend family and kids love it- Tiffany W. from Landover, MD, Posted: 04/25/2017
Rented this house for a big family Christmas. Great location and beautiful water view. But the best part was how accommodating it was for a big group. Two dishwashers, two grills, spacious couches and a dining table that somehow managed to fit our whole group around it.- Anonymous from Washington, DC, Posted: 12/31/2016
