In a recent stay at Deep Creek Lake with friends I had the fortune of renting a property managed by Taylor-Made. The rental firm is professional in a manor rarely seen in this world of minimalist online retailers. Their attention to detail and personal modes of communication made the stay personal and more welcoming than an upscale hotel. I will definitely rent property from them in the future. Thank you!

Rental experience was great.

We enjoyed our time there greatly. It was a beautiful, secluded home near the ski resort. Next time we visit we'll ask for a place that is on a site that is not so steep.

Staying at the waterbliss was very relaxing with an amazing view.

realitors were very accomadating the house was a little musty smelling and no air which we knew when we booked it. The house is older but has been updated. It needs better windows to get more air to circulate. The walk back up from the dock is a calf killer.

Home was out of the way but close enough as you want. House was clean and hot tub felt great. Steps to lake were in good shape but long. Outdoor fireplace at lake was nice for the cool evenings as well as the chiminey on the deck.Love the area and the lake. Don't need alot of things to do just relax, unplug and enjoy nature. There is plenty for those that do want get out and experience. Myself, I prefer to just sit back and enjoy the lake.

We had a great time at our stay in Waterside Bliss. The location was great and the house was neat and organized. The amenities were the only thing that could be improved. The hot tub was broken when we arrived but the maintenance team came out and had it fixed within a day. Also, the oven did not work but we were able to use the grill instead. Overall, I was very happy with our stay and I would reccomend it to others.

For the most part we were very satisfied with our stay. The steps leading from the house to the dock are in need of major repairs. The interior of the property was not as clean as I expected at the time of check in but overall it was acceptable. A note of caution to anyone taking a larger vehicle or trailing a boat, the driveway to get to the property is very steep and there is a sharp turn at the bottom to get to the house. Maneuvering a truck/trailer combination is not possible. On a positive note, the view is amazing and the area was very peaceful!

Waterside Bliss was adequate. It accommodated us very well. Main problem was the leaky roof; water leaked into the master bedroom. Roof requires major repair. Stairs to dock were steep and needed repair, which was done while we were there. The area provided a fun time. Would recommend property if roof repaired.

8 friends looking to get away, celebrate and relax. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We had a really nice stay. The slopes were a quick drive away. We were lucky to have had little snow on the streets otherwise, getting around could have been an issue. This particular house was located at the bottom of a steep driveway. Ice and/or snow would have made getting to and from difficult. The rental process was easy and the staff was pleasant over the phone. Deep Creek turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.

Waterside Bliss was a lovely house for our winter getaway. It was both spacious and cozy. The pictures don't show the true ambiance of the living area nor the size of the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Our family found Waterside Bliss to exceed our expectations! Being on the water and having rented a boat for the week made it even more fun. The hike up from the water was a bit strenuous for my husband and I but it certainly helped to burn off the extra calories that vacation bring! Thank you, Taylor-Made, we will definitely book with you again!

My wife, three year old son and I had a great time. Property was great !!! We will be back. Have already recommended Taylor-Made to a few friends, including our friends that stayed with us at the property over Saturday night a week ago.

House is in need of a lot of maintenance ,accomadates 8 but their is not any where you can sit 8 at a time, bathrooms are outdated and down right gross, hot tub is old and half of the jets or buttons were missing or not working. Advertises sandy beach good for kids, sandy spot is about a foot wide nothing like is pictured. Walk down to dock is very long and steep tough with a toddler. This was our second year here and will be coming back but not here, the view is hampered by the foggy windows and too many trees. U get a better value staying at a place called dancing bear lodge. That has room for kids to run and play and you can drive to the state beach.

overall ok. long walk down to the water with litte ones and the steps were not in the best condition. Inside clean but the deck and oustide areas was filthy.

I was overall satisfied with the vacation home. The house was clean and offered linens and a well equipt kitchen. I was a little disappointed with the view. When you sit on either deck the trees obstruct your view of the lake. The steps walking down to the lake were not well maintained and there was no emergency life float at the dock.

Had a good experience at waterside bliss for an anniversary getaway weekend with another couple also celebrating an anniversary. The house was nice and practical. We loved the hottub and the chimney on the deck. However the walk down to/from the dock was brutal. Also no insulation between floors made an anniversary couples weekend a "quiet" event. Overall had a good weekend!!

This property is a refurbished older cabin/cottage on the lake - really neat little place and very cozy and comfortable. Due to the steep access road and icy weather, can be difficult to get in and out in the winter, but fantastic secluded little place with a great veiw. We loved it.

I would absolutely rent through Taylormade again the entire experice was great, everyone was so nice!! The house exceeded our expectations. Perfect for our group of 5.

All I can say is when they say you need 4wheel drive in the winter time, you really do. We happened to book the house during a snow storm and woke up to a fresh 8inches of sn

Absolutely enjoyed the stay, it was worth every penny we spent, if there is 1 suggestion I can, it is about the water that they have there. For some reason everytime we turned on the hot water faucet, the water had a heavy, pungent, silver smell, don't know if this is the case with all hone houses, since this is first house we went to in deep creek. Anyway other than, it was best vacation of the year we've had

Initially we were a little shocked to find no AC in the house but with a few fans (4 were on site) and leaving the windows open we were very comfortable during one of the warmest weeks on record. Wooded lot was great, house was very clean and well equipped for cooking. Overall it was a fantastic stay- plan to return next summer.

The lower level of this home was not usable due to a foul odor and dampness. There are over 125 steep steps to the lake that should be mentioned in the home description. The bathrooms were moldy. The home is very outdated. There is not enough comfortable seating in the family room area. We will not return to this home.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND CAN'T WAIT TO BE ABLE TO RETURN!

This property was very nice. There were only a few things we wern't happy with. The downstairs toilet sweated and created a puddle around it that was pretty significant. Not enough livingroom furniture for all guests to watch tv (there were five of us). The lakefront was awsome but I wouldn't recommend it for older people or anyone out of shape! By the time you walk back up to the house you are breathing pretty hard and your heart is pounding! Overall, it was a nice rental though!

We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. The property was wonderful, location great. We will most definitely return as soon as we possibly can.
- JENNIFER F. from PITTSBURGH, Posted: 10/19/2010
Aside from the slightly musty smell this was a cozy little cottage. Also the view was somewhat hindered by windows that had broken seals and were"foggy".
- Robert B. from Pittsburgh, Posted: 10/12/2010
didn't relize there was such a hill to the lake. it would have been nice to have a clearer better maintained path as we had an older guest with us. hand rails would have been helpful too. we did have to report problems twice and office staff was very helpful but even so we could not use the hot tub that was on the property for several day during our visit and we didn't recieve notice that it had been repaired and was ready for use. we only realized this after we found the maintanance key on the lock the day we left and were checking that we had locked everything up
