Within less than one mile, you will find the Hale Irwin designed Lodestone Golf Course. Its challenging greens and lake views make it ideal for the serious golfers in your group. Within a five-minute drive, you can also hit the links at Wisp Resort’s other course, Fantasy Valley. In addition to golf, Wisp is well-known for endless recreation. Skiing, mountain biking, ziplines, and snow tubing are just a few of the options.
For summertime fun, be sure to visit Deep Creek Lake State Park. They have a sandy beach with lifeguards, picnic areas, playgrounds and canoe and kayak rentals. You can also take the kids to the Discovery Center that is home to hands-on exhibits about the local, natural environment. Park staff often have great activities like guided hikes and tours of the aviary.
