Jodi Taylor Refosco

Owner/Partner

With a twenty-three year background in the vacation rental industry, Jodi Taylor Refosco has experience in almost every facet of the business. She started as a hot tub technician in 1997 in her parent’s vacation rental company, Railey Mtn Lake Vacations. She worked her way through many of the departments, ending as General Manager after 11 years with her parents. Her parents sold the company in 2007 and Jodi, along with her husband, Joe, and her brother, Chad Taylor started Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales. Over the past decade, they have grown their portfolio of homes to include more than 440 vacation rentals and 125 non-renting homes. Plus a real estate arm with 43 sales agents. She oversees the reservations, owner relations and marketing teams and on-boards all new homeowners. Currently, Jodi is the outgoing President of the VRMA Board of Directors. She also served one year as President Elect and three years as Secretary. Her commitment to the association and the industry is evident through her work as chair of the Education Committee, participation in the Membership Committee and active involvement as a presenter. Jodi, Chad, and Joe also started the VRX (The Vacation Rental Exchange) with 8-10 other vacation rental companies from up and down the east coast (even in Canada). This group meets once a year and educates each other on up and coming technology operations logistics, software, and trends in the industry. When she is not in the office, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with family and friends or volunteering with local charities that are close to her heart.
