Kendra Hall

Reservations Assistant Manager

Growing up in Southern California but Kendra was born and raised a Steelers fan. She has 2 teenagers who have taught her all about Marvel Comics (Team Ironman) and anime. She loves spending time at home as it is her happy place where she can be as silly as she wants and eat as much as she wants!

How long have you lived in Deep Creek? 8 years

What are your hobbies?

Im a home body so I love my pizza movie nights, But I cant resist a good ol' fashion road trip. Whenever I get the chance I like to get out of town and explore new cities and meet new people.

Favorite thing about the area?

My favorite thing about the area is all of the new little shops and trendy restaurants that are opening. I love supporting the small businesses in the area because they have such unique items. As far as shopping and dining there really is something for everyone to indulge in.

Favorite Local Restaurant? Brenda's Pizzeria

Favorite Season? As a self-proclaimed Pumpkin Spice Queen, my favorite season is definitely the fall. I love getting my beanies and sweaters out for bon-fires and enjoying the golden fall views at Swallow Falls.

Favorite Local Events?

My favorite local event is the Art and Wine festival. Need I say more?

If you only had a couple of days to spend in Deep Creek, what would you recommend doing? (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter)

With only a couple days in the area you have to spend at least one of those days out on the lake! You can dock your boat at Lakeside Creamery for some ice cream or dock at Unos for dinner on the outside deck while enjoying a live band. I would also recommend something a bit more relaxing such as horseback riding at Western Trails. The staff is friendly, and the trail views are awesome year around!

What is the most common misconception about DCL from out-of-towners?

I think the most common misconception is that there's nothing to do here. I am so thankfully for all of the experiences and memories I have made while living in the area. I go Boating with friends. Ive spend the day at Wisp zip lining and riding the mountain coaster, I love hiking with my kids. Its fun trying the new restaurants in the area and checking out the local farmers markets. My daughter cant stay away from the arcades here in the area. There really is something to keep everyone busy.
