-Based on state limitations on gathering size outlined in Maryland's Phase 1 of reopening, current local restrictions limit the occupancy to no more than 10 non-family members. Family groups (related and extended) may occupy the maximum occupancy for the home. We will provide updates when Maryland moves to Phase 2. -Maryland requires masks in public settings.
-In-person check in is no longer required for arrivals. Guests can still easily reach us by calling our office at 301-387-5999. We are available 7 days a week.
-If you have plans to travel to Deep Creek in the near future, plan to follow guidelines established by the CDC. That includes proper hand hygiene.
-If you have questions regarding COVID-19 while visiting Deep Creek Lake, you can call the Garrett County COVID-19 Hotline at 301-334-7698.
-While visiting our community, please practice social distancing.
Minimizing risk is a top priority. Our entire staff has been educated and trained on the latest protocols. Additionally, they are supplied with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-On top of our already rigorous cleaning and disinfecting procedures, we are targeting high touch/high traffic surfaces. Find out more about our Commitment to Cleanliness.
-Hot tubs and pools are treated with the appropriate chemicals and all high touch exterior surfaces are disinfected.
-Linens and towels are cleaned in our commerical laundry facility.
Below are links to helpful information for guests visiting the Deep Creek Lake area. We will compile a list of available activities as more information becomes available.
-As of May 29 at 5PM, Maryland restaurants are permitted to offer outdoor dining with restrictions in place. Dutch's at Silver Tree, Mountain State Brewing Co., Cornucopia Cafe, and MoonShadow will be open with outdoor seating.
-As of May 16, Maryland retail shops are permitted to re-open at reduced capacity with social distancing measures in place. We encourage you to call first to confirm the business is definitely open, hours of operation, etc.
-Thousand Acres Golf Club is open. Call 301-387-0387 for tee times.
-High Mountain Sports offers kayak and paddleboard delivery.
-Kayak and paddleboard delivery begins Saturday, May 23. Kayak Express will delivery equipment to your rental home.
-Fantasy Valley Golf Course is open.
-Lodestone Golf Course opens on Saturday, May 23.
-Deep Creek Lake State Park rental kayaks and paddleboards at the Beach Hut open Saturday, May 23.
Our real estate division has been utilizing technology to make sure buyers, home owners and agents are kept safe and still informed on the local market. We have been keeping up to date with any changes and requests by local, state and federal agencies.
-Agents are using a variety of resources including paperless transaction management, digital signatures, virtual tours and live video feeds via Facetime, Google Hangouts and Facebook.
-We have been conducting Virtual Open houses in place of physical open houses.
-Physical showings, while discouraged during these times, have had some changes in procedures. Agents and clients are traveling in separate vehicles. Agents are opening homes and preparing the showing while maintaining the encouraged social distancing requirements along with wiping down door handles before and after entering rooms.
