Update from Taylor-Made

The safety of our guests, owners, real estate clients and staff has always been one of our core values.  As we face the challenge presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking precautionary steps to insure a healthy experience for all. Please be assured that safety is of utmost importance to us. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it evolves. 

-As of March 30, we are moving or canceling all reservations arriving through April 19, 2020. If you are a guest with questions about your reservation, please call 301-387-5999.

-As of March 30, we are not accepting new reservations with an arrival date between now and April 30, 2020. 

 

Vacation Rentals

Here are some of the precautionary measures we are taking:

-In-person check in is no longer required for arrivals within the next 30 days. Guests can still easily reach us by calling our office at 301-387-5999. We are available 7 days a week.

-We have always used cleaning products with disinfectant. In addition to normal cleaning procedures, our housekeeping staff will increase focus on “high touch” items like light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc.

-Back of the house areas are also being cleaned frequently.

-Proper hand hygiene is part of the messaging our team receives on a daily basis.

-Our staff receives ongoing education on best practices put forth by public health agencies.

-Team members who can work from home will be doing so.

-We recommend that guests traveling to the area follow guidelines established by the CDC.

Real Estate

Our real estate division has been utilizing technology  to make sure our buyers, home owners and agents are kept safe and still informed on the local market. We have been keeping up to date with any changes and  requests by the local, state and federal agencies. 

-Agents are working remotely to serve their clients. They have a variety of resources at their fingertips: paperless transaction management, digital signatures, virtual tours and live video feeds via Facetime, Google Hangouts and Facebook.

-We have been conducting Virtual Open houses in place of physical open houses. 

-Physical showings, while discouraged during these times, have had some changes in procedures.  Agents and clients are traveling in separate vehicles. Agents are opening homes and preparing the showing while maintaining the encouraged social distancing requirements along with wiping down door handles before and after entering rooms. 

-Home that are on the vacation rental market receive additional cleaning as per the recommendation of the CDC before and after rentals.
